# Circles IP 5 - Optimize the inflation interval

One further open topic here to be discussed is the inflation interval. A few different proposals so far.  
a) Keep the 1 year gap.

b) Go much lower to something like a week.

c) Or even work with the concept of real time streaming money like [Home - Superfluid](https://www.superfluid.finance/home)
